Our staff can also recommend hidden gems of restaurants and cafes. With both sightseeing and daily shopping close by, you can truly "live like a local" while traveling. Guests also receive a 150 JPY discount on our Kazemachi Cafe menu during their stay.

施設の近く（徒歩30秒）に、風まち下田専用駐車場が10台程度ございます。特定日は¥1,000/日（要予約）、その他は無料ですが予約不可となります。満車の場合（あまりないですが）ご容赦ください。
We have a private parking lot for about 10 cars, located 30 seconds on foot. Parking is ¥1,000/day on Peak Seasons (reservation required), otherwise it's free (no reservation). Thank you for your understanding if the lot is full.

風まち下田での暮らしは、ただ滞在するだけではありません。長期滞在やシェアハウスのメンバーは、時に私たちと共に新しく訪れるゲストを迎え入れ、下田の魅力を伝える「場づくりの当事者」にもなります。自らが企画したイベントでゲストをもてなしたり、得意なことで誰かの役に立ったり。受け身の滞在ではなく、コミュニティの一員として関わることで、旅はもっと深く、面白くなります。
Living at Kazemachi Shimoda is more than just staying. Long-term stay and share house members sometimes welcome new guests alongside us, becoming "creators of the space" to convey the charm of Shimoda. Whether hosting an event to entertain guests or helping someone with your skills, getting involved as a community member makes your journey much deeper and more interesting.

Community Space 1 (Everyone's Living Room)
ここが、風まち下田のコアとなるスペース。家でいうとリビングのような場所です。旅人も、地域の人も、老若男女、様々な国籍の人々が自然と集い、時に老若男女多国籍な人たちで囲む食卓となり、時にワークスペースとなり、時に地域のイベントが開かれるハブとなります。 大きなテーブルでは、ノートPCを広げて仕事をする人の隣で、子どもたちが宿題をしている。そんな日常の風景がここにはあります。これまでには、滞在者主催のタコスパーティーやゲーム大会が開かれて、夜遅くまで笑い声が響いたことも。外で買ってきたお惣菜や、シェアキッチンでつくった料理を囲むと、自然と会話が生まれ、新しい交流が始まります。
The core space of Kazemachi Shimoda, functioning like a living room. Travelers, locals, people of all ages and nationalities naturally gather here. It transforms into a shared dining table, a workspace, or a hub for local events. A daily scene involves someone working on a laptop next to kids doing homework. We've had taco parties and game tournaments hosted by guests with laughter echoing late into the night. Gathering around deli food or home-cooked meals naturally sparks conversations and new interactions.
Community Space 2 (Intersection of Music & Culture)
リビングの一角には、ピアノ、ギター、カホーンなどの楽器が、誰でも自由に触れられるように置かれています。得意な曲を披露する人、初めて楽器に触れる子供、そしてその音色に耳を傾ける人々。音楽は言葉を超えて心をつなぎます。レコードプレーヤーもあるので、懐かしいレコードの温かい音色が、場の空気を和ませてくれる時間も。 時には、東京や、遠くはアルゼンチンから訪れたミュージシャンによるライブが開かれることもあります。また、このスペースは音楽だけでなく、絵画や写真の展示会場になることもあります。多様な文化が交差する創造的な空間です。イベントの開催については、ぜひInstagramをチェックしてみてください。
Equipped with a piano, guitars, and a cajon, free for anyone to play. From those showing off their favorite songs to kids touching instruments for the first time, music connects hearts beyond words. A record player adds a warm, nostalgic tone to the atmosphere. We occasionally host live performances by musicians from Tokyo or even Argentina. This space is also used for art and photo exhibitions. Playroom
思わず白熱してしまう卓球で、思いっきり汗を流してリフレッシュ！ゲスト同士の交流のきっかけにもなっています。大きなテーブルは、時にはみんなで囲む食卓に、時にはワークショップを開く学びの場へと姿を変えます。スタッフが厳選した漫画や、旅や生き方のヒントになるような本も揃っているので、一人で静かに過ごしたい時にも最適です。
Refresh yourself with an exciting game of ping-pong! It’s a great way to break the ice with other guests. The large table transforms into a dining area or a workshop space. We also have carefully selected manga and books that might inspire your travels and lifestyle, perfect for when you want to spend quiet time alone.
Kids Space
プレイルームの一角には、小さなお子様が靴を脱いで安心して遊べるスペースをご用意しました。絵本や積み木、おもちゃがいっぱい。親御さんがコミュニティスペースでくつろいだり、他の大人と交流を楽しんでいる間も、お子様はすぐ目の届く場所で楽しく安全に過ごせます。
A safe, shoe-free area for small children to play, filled with picture books, building blocks, and toys. Parents can relax and socialize in the community space while keeping a close eye on their kids.
Deck
一歩外に出れば、そこは港町の風が吹き抜ける特等席。ハンモックに揺られたり、インフィニティチェアでくつろいだり、思い思いのチルなひと時をお過ごしください。夜は竹灯籠の幻想的な明かりの下で、仲間たちと語り合うのも最高です。
Step outside to a premium seat where the port town breeze blows through. Relax in a hammock or an infinity chair and spend your chill time as you like. At night, it’s a perfect spot to chat with friends under the magical light of bamboo lanterns.
Rooftop
誰にも邪魔されない、とっておきのプライベート空間へようこそ。屋上に上がれば、遮るもののない360度のパノラマが広がります。下田の港、歴史を感じる街並み、そして伊豆の山々まで一望。夜には街の明かりが届かないため、息をのむほど美しい満点の星空を独り占めできます。
Welcome to your special private space where no one will disturb you. The rooftop offers an unobstructed 360-degree panoramic view of Shimoda Port, the historic townscape, and the Izu mountains. Since city lights don't reach here, you can have the breathtakingly beautiful starry sky all to yourself at night.
Shared Kitchen
下田の旅、そして暮らしの楽しみは、豊かな「食」にあります。みんなで作業しやすいよう中央にカウンターを設けたキッチンで、地元の新鮮な食材を自由に料理しましょう。調理器具や食器も一通り揃っています。他のゲストとレシピを教え合ったり、得意料理を振る舞ったり。みんなでワイワイ料理をする時間は、ゲストハウスやシェアハウスの醍醐味であり、旅の素敵な思い出になります。
The joy of traveling and living in Shimoda lies in its rich "food". Freely cook with fresh local ingredients in our kitchen equipped with a central counter for easy collaboration. Cookware and tableware are provided. Sharing recipes and cooking together is one of the best parts of staying in a guesthouse, making wonderful travel memories.

コミュニティスペースから少し離れた、静かで落ち着いたワークスペースです。集中して作業や勉強に没頭したい時には、こちらをご利用ください。あなたの「集中モード」を、最高の環境でサポートします。高速Wi-Fiと電源はもちろん完備しています。
A quiet and calm workspace slightly separated from the community space. Use this area when you want to focus entirely on work or study. We support your "focus mode" in the best environment. High-speed Wi-Fi and power outlets are, of course, fully equipped.
Meeting Room (Online ready)
窓の外に船が停泊するという非日常の景色を眺めながら、会議や打ち合わせができます。最大8名様まで対応可能な会議室と、オンライン会議に集中できるプライベートな個室を2部屋ご用意。状況に合わせて最適な環境をお選びいただけます。
Hold meetings or discussions while enjoying the extraordinary view of anchored ships outside the window. We offer a meeting room for up to 8 people and 2 private individual booths perfect for online meetings. You can choose the best environment for your situation.
Tatami Room (Lounge)
シェアキッチンのすぐ隣にある、畳が心地よい和室の談話室です。冬にはこたつが登場し、思わずうたた寝してしまうほど、ほっこりと温かい時間が流れます。キッチンでさっと作ったものを食べたい時や、少人数で静におしゃべりしたい時にぴったりの空間です。
A comfortable tatami room right next to the shared kitchen. In winter, a "kotatsu" (heated table) is set up, creating a warm and cozy atmosphere where you might easily fall asleep. Perfect for eating a quick meal made in the kitchen or having quiet chats in small groups.
Shower Room
海や山で思いっきり遊んだ後も、仕事でかいた汗も、いつでも好きな時にさっぱりと流せる共用のシャワールームです。（※女性側には、疲れを癒せる浴槽もございます）。男女それぞれ2台ずつ洗濯機（100円/回 洗剤込）も完備しており、長期滞在やアクティブな毎日でも安心です。いつかサウナを導入したいと計画中…。
Shared shower rooms available anytime to wash off sweat from working or playing hard in the sea and mountains. (The women's side also has a bathtub to relieve fatigue). Washers are available (2 for each gender, 100 JPY/load including detergent), making it convenient for long stays or active days. We are planning to install a sauna someday...
Drying Room
雨で濡れてしまった衣類や、連泊中のお洗濯物も、天気を気にせずしっかり乾かせる乾燥室。特にサーフィンや海水浴の後には大活躍します（ウェットスーツはデッキで干すことも可能です）。濡れたものを持ち帰るストレスから解放され、旅を最後まで快適に楽しむための、頼れる設備です。
A drying room to properly dry your clothes that got wet in the rain or laundry from consecutive nights, regardless of the weather. Especially useful after surfing or swimming (wetsuits can also be hung on the deck). A reliable facility to free you from the stress of bringing wet clothes home and to enjoy your trip comfortably until the end.

Community Space / Playroom: Multi-purpose areas equipped with a large monitor, projector, piano, ping-pong table, guitars, and board games. - シェアキッチン： 冷蔵庫、ガスコンロ、炊飯器、電子レンジ、トースター、調理器具、基本的な調味料をご用意しています。皆さまで譲り合ってご利用ください。（特に混雑時には、ご協力をお願いいたします。）
Shared Kitchen: Refrigerator, gas stove, rice cooker, microwave, toaster, cookware, and basic seasonings are available. Please share nicely, especially when crowded. - ワークスペース： 集中できるワークルーム（5名まで）、打ち合わせに最適なMTGルーム（8名まで）、プライベートな個室ワークルーム2部屋をご用意しております。
Workspace: Includes a focus room (up to 5 people), a Meeting room (up to 8 people), and 2 private booths. - 浴室： 男女別共用です。男性浴室はシャワーのみ、女性浴室には浴槽もございます。掃除中以外はいつでもご利用いただけます。
Bathrooms: Shared and gender-separated. Showers only for men; bathtub available for women. Available anytime except during cleaning. - 洗面所、各階男女別トイレ： 清潔にご利用いただけますよう、ご協力をお願いいたします。

- 当施設にはエレベーターがございません。客室は2階から4階に位置しており、お部屋の指定は承っておりません。また館内には段差もあり、バリアフリーには対応しておりません。
No elevator. Rooms are on the 2nd to 4th floors. The facility is not wheelchair accessible. - 夜間は、他のお客様、近隣に配慮をお願いします。特に宿泊部屋のある2階から4階では、静かにお過ごしください。
Please be considerate of others and keep quiet at night, especially on the residential floors (2F-4F). - 館内は全面禁煙です。喫煙される際は、指定の喫煙スペースをご利用ください。
Entire building is non-smoking. Please use the designated smoking area. - ペット同伴は、他のお客様へのご配慮からご遠慮いただいております。
No pets allowed. - 鍵を紛失された場合は、再発行手数料として15,000円を申し受けます。
Lost keys will incur a reissue fee of 15,000 JPY. - 皆様で気持ちよくお使いいただくため、個室・共有スペースを問わず、ご利用後のセルフクリーニングにご協力をお願いしております。万が一、館内の設備や備品に著しい汚損・破損が生じた場合は、修理費用をご負担いただくことがございますので、大切にご利用いただくようお願いします。

Please set up the provided rental linens (sheets, covers) yourself. - 長期滞在のお客様へ：リネン交換は1～2週間に1度を目安としております（1回1,000円、お客様ご自身でのセットをお願いいたします）。ご自身で洗濯されることも可能です。
For long-term guests: Linen change is recommended every 1-2 weeks (1,000 JPY per change, self-setup required). You can also wash them yourself. - 連泊中の客室清掃は、お客様のプライバシーを尊重し、行っておりません。
We do not clean rooms during consecutive stays to respect your privacy.
